Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar 2 has been a massive success, breaking box-office records both in India and internationally. The spy thriller, starring Ranveer Singh, has earned $80 million in its opening weekend, surpassing several Hollywood releases, including Hoppers and Scream 7.
The film's overseas collection stands at $22 million, with a US debut of $9.6 million, making it the third biggest film in North America over the weekend. In India, Dhurandhar 2 has minted ₹454 crore net (₹542 crore gross) in the first four days, including three ₹100+ crore days, a first for any Bollywood film.
With a worldwide opening-weekend collection of around $80 million, Dhurandhar 2 is now moving towards the $100 million mark, which should help it enter the top 10 highest-grossing films of the year worldwide. The film stars Ranveer Singh, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in the main cast.
