Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar continues to make waves at the box office, two weeks after its release. The film, directed by Aditya Dhar, has experienced a slow-down on its 18th day but has regained momentum since then. In a notable achievement, Dhurandhar has now surpassed the Hindi collections of Shah Rukh Khan's 2023 hit, Jawan. According to Sacnilk, a leading trade website, Dhurandhar collected an estimated ₹16 crore in India on Tuesday, bringing its domestic total to ₹1588.3 crore net. This milestone surpasses Jawan's Hindi collection of ₹582.31 crore, with a total domestic haul of ₹640.25 crore net. The film's box office performance has been impressive, with ₹207.25 crore collected in its first week and ₹253.25 crore in its second week. The film also made ₹22.5 crore on Friday, followed by ₹34.25 crore and ₹38.5 crore over the weekend. Although it collected its lowest amount on Monday, ₹16.5 crore, Dhurandhar has regained its footing by Tuesday. Directed by Aditya Dhar and starring Ranveer Singh, the film has received widespread praise from both audiences and celebrities alike. Akshay Kumar, Karan Johar, Shilpa Shetty, and others have lauded the film's performance. With a sequel, Dhurandhar 2, scheduled for release on March 19, 2026, fans are eagerly anticipating the next installment of this spy action thriller.
