In a remarkable box office run, Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar has surpassed Rajinikanth's 2.0, becoming the highest-grossing film in two weeks. Released on December 5, the Aditya Dhar-directed spy thriller has collected almost ₹480 crore in India and over ₹700 crore worldwide. According to the producers, Jio Studios, Dhurandhar has generated a net collection of ₹479.50 crore in its first two weeks. The film collected ₹34.70 crore on Saturday, ₹53.70 crore on Sunday, ₹58.20 crore on Monday, ₹31.80 crore on Tuesday, ₹32.10 crore on Wednesday, and ₹25.70 crore on Thursday. Dhurandhar's worldwide collection stands at ₹710.50 crore, with ₹552.50 crore coming from India and ₹158 crore from overseas. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the film, which is now eyeing the lifetime collection of Aamir Khan's PK, totaling ₹792 crore. Dhurandhar is a two-part series, with the first installment following Ranveer's character, Hamza Ali Mazari, who infiltrates a Baloch gang in Pakistan. The sequel is scheduled for release on March 19, 2026. The film stars Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi in lead roles.
