Bollywood's latest blockbuster Dhurandhar continues to enthrall audiences, raking in ₹781.75 crore in India since its release on December 5. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller has shattered multiple box-office records, making it the highest-grossing film of 2025. As the film enters its fifth week, early estimates suggest a slowdown in momentum. According to Sacnilk, Dhurandhar earned ₹4.75 crore on day 33, a drop from its earlier days. However, this dip was expected due to its extended run and the fact that it was a Tuesday. The film's 33-day box office performance has been nothing short of impressive. It opened strongly with ₹28 crore on its first day and saw steady growth over the weekends, peaking at ₹43 crore on the first Sunday. Despite a gradual decline in Week 3 and a sharper drop in Week 4, the film still managed to post an impressive overall net collection of ₹780.41 crore in India. Audience interest in Dhurandhar remains strong, particularly in urban areas. Occupancy reports suggest that cities like Chennai, Bengaluru, and Mumbai saw moderate to high interest, with evening and afternoon shows performing better than morning shows. Smaller centres like Surat and Ahmedabad reported lower occupancy, while mid-tier cities like Jaipur, Lucknow, and Bhopal saw steady but unspectacular turnout. Dhurandhar features a talented ensemble cast, including Ranveer Singh, Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, and Sara Arjun. The film's gripping narrative weaves together espionage, politics, and action, drawing inspiration from historical events. With its layered character arcs, powerful performances, and blockbuster spectacle, Dhurandhar has become one of the most talked-about releases of 2025.
