Actor Sobhita Dhulipala has joined the growing list of celebrities praising Aditya Dhar's espionage thriller 'Dhurandhar', which has become a blockbuster hit at the box office. The film, which released on December 5, has amassed over ₹662 crore nett in India. Sobhita took to her Instagram Stories to express her admiration for the film, calling it 'breathtaking', 'mind-blowing', and 'inspiring'. She praised lead actors Ranveer Singh and Sara Arjun, hailing their talent and beauty. 'Dhurandhar' has already received praise from several celebrities, including Preity Zinta, Allu Arjun, Anupam Kher, and Hrithik Roshan. The film's success has cemented its place among the top 10 highest-earning Indian movies ever. The film's sequel, 'Dhurandhar 2', is set to release on March 19, 2026, in five languages - Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam. The espionage-thriller is expected to mark a grand pan-India and global rollout. 'Dhurandhar' tells the story of covert intelligence operations set against the backdrop of significant geopolitical and terror events, including the Kandahar plane hijack, the 2001 Parliament Attack, and the 26/11 Mumbai attacks. The film features an ensemble cast, including Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, Arjun Rampal, Rakesh Bedi, and Manav Gohil, among others. It is presented by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, and produced by Aditya Dhar alongside Jyoti Deshpande and Lokesh Dhar.
