A dispute between Ranveer Singh and Farhan Akhtar over Don 3 has led to new details emerging about closed-door mediation sessions. According to Variety, the dispute was discussed across multiple meetings attended by top industry figures, including Salman Khan, Hrithik Roshan, and Alia Bhatt.

Ranveer reportedly skipped initial meetings but later presented his side of the story, claiming his fee had been renegotiated and reduced, and the film's budget cut from ₹300-350 crore to ₹150 crore.

Farhan Akhtar and producer Ritesh Sidhwani reportedly presented WhatsApp records showing Ranveer's positive response to the script at various stages. They also denied the allegation that Ranveer's fee had been reduced after terms were agreed upon.

Ranveer admitted he wouldn't have left the project if Dhurandhar hadn't turned into a blockbuster and offered ₹10 crore as an immediate settlement, proposing a 25 percent discount on his fee for future projects produced by Excel Entertainment.

However, Farhan and Ritesh rejected the offer, stating it held no value since they had no intention of collaborating with Ranveer again. The dispute remains unresolved.
