Actor Ranvir Shorey expressed concerns about the state of small, independent films in India, stating that they're losing ground in theaters and on streaming platforms.

He believes that the success of big films like Dhurandhar won't help indie films, as they focus on characters and cinematic excellence rather than spectacle.

Ranvir Shorey has been a prominent name in Indian independent cinema, with films like Khosla Ka Ghosla and Dasvidaniya.

His upcoming film, Everybody Loves Sohrab Handa, is a crime thriller that's currently streaming on ZEE5.
