Actor and Parliamentarian Ravi Kishan has come out in full support of Aditya Dhar's Dhurandhar The Revenge, calling it an unfortunate label to term the film as propaganda. The film has entered the 1000 crore club on its third Sunday, becoming the fastest Indian film to achieve the feat after Pushpa 2 (2024).

Ravi Kishan, who recently appeared in Maamla Legal Hai season 2, compares the franchise to the 1975 blockbuster Sholay, saying that the writer picks topics from real news and incidents and presents them cinematically on the screen.

He adds that cinema should present on-screen what is happening in society and that it's essential to correct history through research, bringing truth to the forefront. Ravi Kishan also expresses his desire to work with Aditya Dhar or Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the future, citing his admiration for their work.

The actor praises the film's success, attributing it to the 'amazing BGM, super editing, bang-on energy by actors, and the director's great shots'. He will be seen in upcoming films like Mirzapur, Nagzilla, Bhai Behen, Peddi with Ram Charan, and TDS series.
