Sabrina Carpenter has been granted a temporary restraining order against William Applegate, a 31-year-old man she claims is a dangerous stalker who has appeared at her Los Angeles home multiple times in three days.
According to legal documents, Applegate allegedly trespassed onto Carpenter's property, made his way to her front door, and 'forcefully pushed down' on the lever when he found it locked.
Ring camera footage of the incident was included in Carpenter's court filing, which also revealed that Applegate claimed he personally knew Carpenter and that she was expecting him - a claim Carpenter described as 'a complete lie'.
Less than 24 hours after being arrested, Applegate returned to Carpenter's home on May 24, and came back again on May 25, parking outside and watching the property for hours.
Carpenter described it as 'deliberate surveillance of my movements and my home,' and a Los Angeles judge granted her a temporary restraining order, requiring Applegate to stay at least 100 yards away from her, her home, her car, her workplace, and other residents.
