Actor and comedian Satish Shah will receive the Padma Shri today in a posthumous ceremony at Rashtrapati Bhavan. His cousin Arvind Mamania will accept the award on his behalf, citing health reasons for Satish's wife, Madhu Shah. Arvind expressed that the family wishes the honour had come earlier, but is grateful nonetheless. Satish passed away in October 2025 after collapsing at his home.
