Actor Shilpa Shetty Kundra believes the Hindi film industry is undergoing a significant transformation due to changing audience preferences and the growing influence of OTT platforms.

According to Shetty, the industry's evolving landscape has forced filmmakers and actors to reassess their choices, with many opting for OTT releases over theatrical ones.

Shetty, who has spent over three decades in the industry, is now more focused on projects that justify her presence on screen, citing her desire to have her children watch her in a theatrical release.

She elaborated on her choices, stating that she has had to hedge her bets and decide what's important for her, with the goal of achieving a theatrical release for her next project.

Shetty also emphasized that the length of the role has never been the criteria for her, and she has turned down big films in the past, but remains confident in her decisions.
