Actor Shilpa Shinde has spoken out against the struggles artists face in the entertainment industry, labelling producers as "white-collar mafias". She also expressed disappointment over the lack of support from her co-stars after admitting to filing a false sexual harassment complaint against a producer.

Shilpa shared a strongly worded video on Instagram, alleging unfair practices that continue to plague the television industry. She claimed that producers operate like a mafia, threatening artists who refuse to support them and sabotaging their work.

Shilpa also took a jibe at those who mourn the deaths of artists without having supported them earlier. She claimed that she was left to fend for herself during the controversy, with no one from the industry stepping forward to support her.

The actor maintained that she had spoken her truth and was fully aware of why she chose to speak out at the time. She asserted that she had her own reasons for going public and would rather quit acting and sell vegetables than bow down to such people.
