The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has condemned her actions and urged Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to take strict action. Shilpa has since taken to Instagram to defend herself, posting cryptic notes and videos that have sparked further backlash.
AICWA believes that filing false accusations harms the accused and undermines the credibility of genuine victims. The association has expressed concern over the incident, stating that it can create doubt around legitimate complaints and make it difficult for real survivors of harassment to be heard and believed.
