Actor Shilpa Shinde has sparked controversy after admitting to filing a false sexual harassment complaint against Bhabiji Ghar Par Hain producer Sanjay Kohli. In a recent Instagram video, Shilpa urged people to fact-check and read her FIR copy, claiming that she was forced to make the allegations due to a contractual dispute.
Shilpa's revelation has drawn sharp criticism from several actors, including Pooja Bedi and Hina Khan, who have publicly condemned her for filing a false complaint. The All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) has also expressed concern over the matter.
Shilpa sarcastically said that people should share her side of the story, as 'tit for tat' will happen if they don't. She also emphasized the importance of fact-checking and reading her FIR copy, which she claims clearly states that Sanjay Kohli had pulled her hand towards him.
In a caption accompanying her video, Shilpa wrote, 'KEEP DOING YOUR JOB PR but Stop spreading false narratives about the case. Sexual harassment is any unwelcome sexual behavior that makes a person feel uncomfortable, intimidated, humiliated, or offended.'
