Author and columnist Shobhaa De has claimed that she senses an "ugly conspiracy" brewing against Ranveer Singh and filmmaker Aditya Dhar in the ongoing Don 3 dispute.
Shobhaa De took to Instagram to praise Ranveer for handling the dispute with dignity, drawing parallels between his situation and the Delhi Gymkhana Club row.
She claimed that the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has gained importance by banning Ranveer from working on Don 3, making themselves unpopular among technicians and others who stand to lose their jobs.
Shobhaa De believes that the FWICE's move is part of a conspiracy against Ranveer, Aditya Dhar, and the team behind the Dhurandhar franchise, which has been a massive success.
She urged Farhan Akhtar to take the dispute to court and let the law decide who has transgressed what, as the average person is not clear about the situation.
