Karuppu, starring Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, has become a massive crowd-puller, with fans cheering and celebrating the actor's action-packed avatar on the big screen. The film, directed by RJ Balaji, has crossed the ₹100 crore mark within a week of its release.
According to Sacnilk, Karuppu collected ₹10.30 crore on Wednesday, a slight dip compared to Tuesday's ₹12.75 crore. The film earned ₹15.50 crore on its opening day and showed significant growth the next day, collecting ₹24.15 crore. On Sunday, it collected ₹28.35 crore, its highest single-day collection so far.
The total India gross collections stand at ₹119.64 crore, with the total India net at ₹105.35 crore. Karuppu is faring better than Suriya's previous films, including Etharkkum Thunindhavan, Kanguva, and Retro.
