Actor Taapsee Pannu is set to star in a Netflix revenge drama titled Gandhari, where she will perform intense action sequences while blindfolded. The film, directed by Devashish Makhija and written by Kanika Dhillon, tells the story of a mother fighting to protect her child. This unique stunt work adds a new layer of challenge to Taapsee's character, as she relies on instinct, muscle memory, and inner strength to overcome her vulnerability.
Gandhari is based on the character from the Mahabharata, who famously wore a blindfold throughout her married life. The film also stars Swastika Mukherjee and Ishwak Singh, and is expected to be released on Netflix this year.
