Chennai, Tamil superstars Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, and Suriya have strongly condemned the online leak of Vijay's highly anticipated film 'Jana Nayagan'. The actors are demanding stricter anti-piracy measures and accountability for those responsible.

The film, directed by H Vinoth, was reportedly leaked online on Friday, sparking outrage among the film fraternity. Rajinikanth expressed his anguish over the breach on social media, urging film organisations and the government to take action against the perpetrators.

Kamal Haasan attributed the leak to inordinate delays in the certification process, stating that piracy is a result of systemic failure. He argued that timely certification would prevent such incidents and called for accountability, swift certification, and strict enforcement.

Suriya described the incident as 'heartbreaking and unfair', appealing to the public to refrain from engaging with the pirated content. Several industry stalwarts, including Chiranjeevi, have voiced their support, urging fans to wait and watch the film legally in theatres.

Production sources indicate that civil and criminal proceedings are being initiated against those responsible for the unauthorised circulation.
