Taylor Swift continues to surprise her fans with her incredible planning skills. The singer joined the cast of Disney and Pixar's Toy Story 5 at the world premiere of the film, where she not only walked the red carpet but also performed her song, I Knew It, I Knew You, earning a rousing response from the audience.
She was seen wearing a sunshine-yellow outfit and joined composer Randy Newman on stage to perform the song, which is her first original material since The Life of a Showgirl was released in October.
Taylor has been a longtime fan of the movie franchise and said she has always dreamed of writing for these characters. She wrote the song as soon as she got home from the screening of Toy Story 5 and shared the preorders for three CD single versions of the track on her site, which quickly sold out.
The song, I Knew It, I Knew You, is also co-produced by Jack Antonoff, her former collaborator. The song's connection to Toy Story 5 is undeniable, and director Andrew Stanton described it as 'kismet'.
Toy Story 5 releases in English and Hindi in cinemas on 19th June.
