A devastating accident occurred on the set of SJ Suryah's upcoming film, Killer, in Chennai's Perambur area. A gas cylinder explosion during a bomb blast scene left one technician dead and three others injured.

The incident happened around 5 AM on Wednesday at the Binny Mills complex, where technicians were filming a key scene. Madhan (26), Sakthivel (27), Surya (23), and Dinakaran (24) sustained injuries, with Madhan later being declared dead at the hospital.

Police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of the explosion, including whether safety protocols were followed or if it was a technical malfunction. The incident has raised concerns about workers' safety on Tamil film sets.

This is not the first time a tragic accident has occurred on a Kollywood set. In recent years, there have been incidents involving electrocution, falls, and car stunts gone wrong, resulting in the loss of several lives.

The shooting for Killer has been halted, and further details of the ongoing case are awaited.
