With her next film, Rajini Ki Baraat, she plays the title role and is upbeat about the subject, calling it a strong film where her character takes a bold decision based on true incidents.
Gupta, who has roots in Bihar, says her personal connection to the premise of the film made her transition into the character and language natural.
She feels lucky to have worked on bold and righteous films like The Kerala Story 2, which she hopes will create awareness when it releases on streaming platforms.
Gupta, who has worked in regional industries like Telugu, Bengali, and Marathi, says she's trying different things to pick good Hindi subjects and is driven by her greed for meaningful roles.
