Comedian Samay Raina has made a comeback after a tumultuous phase following the controversy surrounding his show India's Got Latent. He recently took a friendly dig at Varun Dhawan's new track Wow from his film Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai in front of Varun himself.
The video, shared by Varun on his Instagram Story, shows Samay interrupting Varun while he's crooning his song and cheekily roasting it. Varun responded, asking why the song won't work, to which Samay said, 'Make a good song, it will work itself.'
Varun didn't let Samay go after his remark and posted the video with the caption, 'What an a**hole wow.' Bollywood celebrities reacted to the post, with Karan Johar commenting with laughing emojis and Gauhar Khan writing, 'Hahahaha I love Samay.'
Samay Raina's comeback comes after he released his stand-up comedy special 'Still Alive' on YouTube, where he talked about his experience of battling through the aftermath of the controversy. The video received widespread love from the audience and has crossed 60 million views on the platform.
