Varun Dhawan's latest comedy film, Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai, has struggled to make an impact at the box office. The film, directed by David Dhawan, has failed to register any significant growth, with collections remaining largely stagnant through its first six days.
According to the latest report on Sacnilk, the film has collected ₹2.80 crore on its sixth day of release, its lowest since the day of release. The total India gross collections stand at ₹40.60 crore, while the total India net is ₹34.15 crore so far.
The film, which was released in over 2500 screens across India, opened to mixed reviews and faced stiff competition from several other releases. With multiple releases this Friday, the film needs to show growth to pack in a decent haul for the first week.
