Producer Vashu Bhagnani has rejected claims by Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai producer Ramesh Taurani that the ongoing controversy regarding the song has been 'sorted'. In a self-made video, Bhagnani denied any discussion with the producers of the Varun Dhawan starrer regarding the ongoing legal dispute.

'No one has called me,' Bhagnani said, adding that he had given no right to his visual content to anyone and that the matter is in court, making it contempt of court if anyone uses it or runs it.

Bhagnani further stated that he is not opposed to the film's release and remains open to discussions and settlement, but wants his visuals removed and for the producers to take permission or do a deal with him.

The controversy centres around allegations made by Bhagnani regarding the recreation and reuse of songs associated with one of his films without his consent, which he describes as an ethical matter rather than a financial dispute.

The trailer of Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai was unveiled on Saturday, showcasing a colourful mix of comedy, romance, music and family drama in classic David Dhawan style.
