Actor Vicky Kaushal has shared his emotional journey of fatherhood since welcoming his baby boy, Vihaan, with wife Katrina Kaif. In an interview, Vicky revealed that the toughest part of fatherhood is being away from his son while working on film sets.
He recalled the moment it hit him that he would be away from Vihaan for four days while filming in Wai, nearly 230 km from home in Mumbai, saying, 'My heart sank. It was hard.'
Vicky also spoke about how fatherhood has changed him, saying, 'It occurs to me at the most random moments that that (instilling the right values) is now my responsibility towards my son.'
The actor and his wife Katrina welcomed their baby boy in November last year and announced the joyous news with a cute post. They revealed their son's name, Vihaan Kaushal, on January 7.
Vicky and Katrina got married in an intimate ceremony in Rajasthan on December 9, 2021. On the work front, Vicky delivered one of India's highest-grossing films of 2025, Chhaava, and will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's film Love & War.
