Tamil star and politician Vijay has accused his opponents of leaking his divorce news just a month before the Tamil Nadu elections to discredit him.
At a rally in Tirunelveli, Vijay spoke about his recent troubles, including the delayed certification of his film Jana Nayagan and rumors about his relationship with actress Trisha Krishnan.
He claimed that his opponents targeted his personal life, including his divorce from wife Sangeeta Sornalingam, and even blocked the release of his film Jana Nayagan.
Vijay, who is contesting the TN elections via his party Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), said that despite all the trials and pains put through by his opponents, he has managed to stay connected with the people.
