Celebrities and politicians from across the country extended wishes to the actor-politician, with stars like Khushbu Sundar and Kamal Haasan leading it for their 'brother'. Fans, however, waited for his rumoured girlfriend Trisha Krishnan to wish him on the special day.
Khushbu Sundar and Kamal Haasan posted heartfelt birthday messages for Vijay, along with pictures of themselves with him. Mohanlal, Sibi Sathyaraj, Raghava Lawrence, Vishal, and others also extended their wishes to the Chief Minister.
However, fans were left wondering why Trisha Krishnan hadn't wished Vijay on his birthday, given their close relationship in the past. The two were spotted together at a wedding in March, sparking rumors of an affair.
Vijay has been married to Sangeeta Sornalingam since 1998, but the couple is currently going through a divorce, with Sangeeta citing infidelity among other reasons.
