Actor Vijay is facing another hurdle as portions of his unreleased film Jana Nayagan have been leaked online. Despite the film awaiting certification from the CBFC, over five-minute footage has been leaked and circulated by numerous accounts on social media. Fans claim that a cyber complaint has been filed against those sharing the clips.

The leaked footage, which includes a 5-minute-31-second video shot inside a theatre during a test screening, reveals scenes from the film including Vijay's introduction shot, a fight sequence, and the film's title card. The clip has been shared on various platforms including X, YouTube, Reddit, and Instagram before some were taken down.

Fans have fumed online and threatened legal action against those who circulated the clips, with some even claiming that a cybercrime complaint has been filed against all accounts sharing leaked Jana Nayagan clips. The production house, KVN Productions, has yet to publicly respond to the leak.

Jana Nayagan is directed by H Vinoth and stars Vijay, Mamitha Baiju, Pooja Hegde, and Bobby Deol. The film was supposed to be released in theatres for Pongal but was postponed due to delayed certification. Vijay has alleged 'conspiracy' over the film's delay, blaming the ruling parties for it.
