Actor Vindu Dara Singh has reacted to the teaser of Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana, calling it better than Adipurush and warning the makers to be careful. He praised the visuals in the teaser and Ranbir Kapoor's portrayal of Lord Rama, but cautioned that any deviation from the original Ramayana would ruin the film.
Vindu Dara Singh, whose father Dara Singh portrayed Lord Hanuman in Ramanand Sagar's iconic series Ramayana, said that the teaser looks 'spectacular' and 'beautiful', but warned that any changes to the original story would be unacceptable to audiences.
He praised Ranbir Kapoor's acting and said that Nitesh Tiwari's vision looks 'way better' than Prabhas' Adipurush. The teaser introduced the first look of Ranbir Kapoor as Rama, with him shown as a warrior and the part where Lord Rama goes into exile for 14 years.
Ramayana is one of the most ambitious films in Indian cinema, with a budget of ₹4000 crore and a star-studded cast including Sai Pallavi, Sunny Deol, Arun Govil and Ravie Dubey. The film is scheduled to release a week before Diwali 2026, with the second part releasing in theatres on Diwali 2027.
