Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, starring Yash, was initially set to release on March 19 but was postponed due to global uncertainty, especially in the Middle East. Music composer Vishal Mishra has now supported the decision, citing restraint as a better option than promotion during uncertain times.

Vishal Mishra, who composed the track Tabaahi for the film, took to his X account to share the official statement on the delay. He wrote, 'This film and everything we do is for the FANS, But While the world is on edge, restraint speaks louder than promotion. What a thoughtful move. #Toxic in cinemas on 4th June … Till then, enjoy the sound of #Tabaahi.'

The official statement from the makers of Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups read, 'We were excited to share our film with you all on the 19th of March. However, the current uncertainty, especially in the Middle East, has created a situation that impacts our goal to reach and connect with the widest possible audience.'

The film, directed by Geethu Mohandas, also stars Rukmini Vasanth, Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Tara Sutaria, Huma Qureshi, Akshay Oberoi and Sudev Nair in key roles. Yash and Geetu co-wrote the film.
