War Child UK's first benefit compilation album, 'Help,' was a massive success in 1995, raising over £1.25 million for children and families affected by war. The charity has now released a follow-up album, also titled 'Help,' featuring unreleased songs from Arctic Monkeys, Olivia Rodrigo, Wet Leg, and more. The album aims to raise funds and awareness for children suffering in war zones, including Ukraine, Gaza, and Sudan.

War Child UK's head of music, Rich Clarke, says the charity has been looking to recreate the success of the first album for years. The new album features contributions from Jarvis Cocker, who has a long history with the charity, and his band Pulp. Cocker's song, 'Begging for Change,' was recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London and features a children's choir.

Benefit compilations are a long-standing tradition in indie music, allowing artists to get involved with charities and issues they care about. The 'Help' album is a powerful reminder of the importance of supporting children affected by war and conflict.
