Legendary singer Asha Bhosle died at 92 after a brief hospitalisation in Mumbai. Her granddaughter Zanai Bhosle has been sharing tributes, including an unseen video of Asha grooving. Zanai captioned the video, saying her grandmother would want everyone to celebrate life.
The video shows Zanai and Asha standing on a balcony, looking at a celebration below. Asha breaks into a little dance, and the two hug each other before Zanai plants a kiss on Asha's forehead.
Zanai has been open about her grief, calling Asha her 'best friend' and 'partner in crime'. She posted a heartfelt message after Asha's funeral, saying she was heartbroken and didn't know who to wake up to or have chai with.
Asha was hospitalised due to exhaustion and a chest infection before her death. Her son performed her last rites, and she was laid to rest with full state honours.
