A body has been recovered from the Mediterranean Sea near Barcelona, where a 20-year-old University of Alabama student, James 'Jimmy' Gracey, went missing during a spring break trip.
According to a spokesperson for Barcelona police, everything points to the incident being an accident, not a criminal act.
The body was found in waters near Port Olimpic marina, close to the Shoko nightclub where Gracey was last seen.
Before the body was discovered, investigators had found Gracey's wallet floating in the sea and his phone during the investigation, but its current status remains unclear.
