The Wilmington International Airport in North Carolina was evacuated on Thursday afternoon following a reported bomb threat.

A bomb squad from the New Hanover County Sheriff's Office is currently investigating the situation at the airport.

Out of caution, the terminal was evacuated to ensure everyone's safety, according to airport officials.
