A possible bomb threat at Carson High School in Carson, Los Angeles, sparked a lockdown for several hours on Monday afternoon.
The lockdown has now been lifted and normal activity has resumed at the school.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department said they were alerted about a possible bomb threat around 10:45am Monday at the Main Street school.
By 12:15pm, the lockdown was lifted as the situation was cleared.
All students are safe and accounted for, and the lockdown was a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of everyone on campus.
The incident remains under investigation.
