The aftermath of the White House Correspondents' Dinner shooting continues to unravel as Charlie Kirk's old tweet referencing 'assassination culture' resurfaces.

The tweet, which was posted a year ago, cited polling claims suggesting a segment of liberals viewed violence against figures like Trump and Elon Musk as 'justified.'

Charlie Kirk blamed the left in the tweet, writing that they are being 'whipped into a violent frenzy' and that 'any setback' justifies a 'maximally violent response.'

The left is being accused of tolerating violence and mayhem, with Kirk calling them a 'ticking time bomb.'

The shooting suspect, Cole Allen, is a resident of California and was a member of 'The Wide Awakes.'

Erika Kirk, Charlie's widow, was seen in distress after the shooting, saying 'I just want to go home.'
