Widespread issues with the Chime app have left users unable to access banking services, with many reporting the platform is not loading properly.
According to outage reports on Downdetector, problems began around 5:30 p.m. EDT on Thursday, with over 6,000 users flagging issues accessing the app by 5:45 p.m.
Some users managed to access limited services through automated phone systems, including locking and unlocking cards to complete purchases.
Users expressed frustration with the outage, citing issues such as error messages, failed transactions, and inability to access their accounts.
