Colombia's defence ministry reported a Lockheed Martin Hercules C-130 aircraft crashed in the country's southern region, carrying around 110 soldiers.
Defence Minister Pedro Sánchez expressed grief over the crash, stating that military units had reached the site but the exact number of victims and causes of the crash have not yet been determined.
The incident comes weeks after another Hercules C-130 crashed in Bolivia, leaving over 20 people dead and 30 injured.
