In a major breakthrough in the death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, singer D4vd has been arrested by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Hernandez's decomposed body was found in an abandoned car at a Los Angeles towing yard that was formerly owned by D4vd, whose real name is David Antony Burke.
The LAPD confirmed that D4vd has been taken into custody and is being held without bond until he is presented before the Los Angeles County District Attorney's Office on April 20.
This arrest comes after a month-long grand jury investigation into Hernandez's murder, which began in September 2025.
Hernandez disappeared from Lake Elsinore, Riverside County, California, in February and her body was found on September 8, 2025.
The investigation has been challenging due to the decomposing state of the body, making it impossible to determine the cause of Hernandez's death.
