The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's Office has revealed the cause of death of 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez, who was killed by singer D4vd. The teen died from 'multiple penetrating injuries caused by object(s),' with her manner of death ruled a homicide.
The report detailed that Rivas suffered 'two penetrating wounds in the torso' along with 'bilateral dismemberment of upper and lower extremities and multiple additional skin defects.'
Authorities noted that Rivas had alcohol in her system and tested 'presumptive positive' for substances including benzodiazepines, methamphetamines and MDMA during initial screening.
D4vd, whose legal name is David Anthony Burke, was arrested on April 16 and has been charged with murder, continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14 and unlawful mutilation of human remains.
Prosecutors claim Burke killed the teen to prevent her from exposing an illegal sexual relationship that was already under investigation.
