David Wilcock, a well-known paranormal author and YouTuber, passed away at the age of 53 after facing financial challenges and a prolonged battle with depression.
A 911 call was received on Monday at 10:44 a.m. where Wilcock discussed his 'health issues and financial concerns' and said 'I Need to leave.'
Deputies from the Boulder County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the location, but Wilcock was declared deceased after being found 'holding a gun.'
Wilcock's family released a statement affirming that he took his own life and urging more focus on mental health care access.
Despite previously rejecting the notion of suicide, Wilcock had alluded to personal challenges in the days leading up to his death, informing his followers that he was facing 'intense stuff.'
