Lebanon's health ministry reported 14 people killed and 37 wounded in Israeli strikes on Sunday, the deadliest day since a ceasefire took effect over a week ago.
Israel and Hezbollah traded accusations of breaching the fragile truce, with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu saying the military was targeting Hezbollah and the group vowing to respond to 'violations'.
Since the April 17 ceasefire, Israel has carried out repeated strikes in Lebanon, killing at least 36 people, according to an AFP tally.
Lebanon's health ministry said the dead included two women and two children, with one Israeli soldier also killed and six wounded in southern Lebanon.
Hezbollah said it targeted Israeli troops and positions in response to ceasefire violations and attacks on Lebanese villages.
