Discord's services have been restored after a widespread voice chat outage that affected tens of thousands of users. The issue, which began on Wednesday, was largely centered around voice calls, with 65% of complaints on Downdetector linked to this feature.

At the peak of the issue, over 14,000 users were affected, but this number had decreased to around 12,000 by the time of writing. Discord's team identified the problem and took action to restore voice traffic, with services fully restored after several hours.

Users took to social media to express their frustration, with many sharing screenshots of their screens while complaining about the outage. The issue was not limited to voice calls, with some users also experiencing problems with other features.

Discord is an instant messaging and VoIP social platform with over 200 million monthly active users. The company has not mentioned a cause for the outage, but users can try restarting Discord, switching voice regions, or restarting their router to fix the 'awaiting endpoint' issue.
