WhatsApp has rolled out a major update for iPhone users, introducing features previously exclusive to Android and integrating Meta's AI tools to simplify chatting.

The update allows iPhone users to run two WhatsApp accounts on a single device, eliminating the need for separate phones for personal and work chats.

The app will display the active account through the profile picture in the bottom tab, making it easy to switch between accounts.

Meta's AI tools are now directly integrated into conversations, enabling users to edit photos before sending them, remove unwanted objects, change backgrounds, or apply different styles.

The 'AI Writing Help' feature suggests replies based on the chat context, making it quicker to respond to messages.

Users can also free up space by finding and deleting large files within any chat, and choose to clear just media files while keeping the chat history intact.

The update improves chat transfers between devices, allowing users to move their chat history, including photos and videos, from an iPhone to an Android device more easily.

Smarter sticker suggestions are also being introduced, recommending relevant stickers as you type an emoji.

WhatsApp said these features are being rolled out gradually, and are expected to be available to everyone soon.
