Days after Joseph Duggar was taken into custody on charges that he molested a young girl in 2020, his wife Kendra was arrested too. The couple has been charged with four counts each of second-degree endangering the welfare of a minor and second-degree false imprisonment.
Kendra, 27, was booked into the Washington County, Arkansas, sheriff's office at about 5 PM local time. She was released at around 6:19 PM.
Joseph Duggar's cousins have reacted differently to his and Kendra's arrests. Amy Duggar King praised the victim's courage, saying 'The courage it took for her to come forward, especially after years of carrying something so heavy, cannot be overstated.'
Jill Duggar Dillard, who formerly starred in TLC reality show '19 Kids and Counting', spoke about her younger brother's arrest, saying 'We strongly condemn abuse. We support the rule of law and hope that justice will be achieved.'
