Legendary Duke coach Mike Krzyzewski's grandson, Joseph Savarino, has been arrested for DWI after allegedly fatally striking a 15-year-old with his vehicle on Saturday night.

The victim, identified as Jack O'Shea, died at the scene after being hit by Savarino's vehicle while riding an electric bicycle in Durham, North Carolina.

Savarino, 26, had a blood alcohol content of 0.11 when he was given a breathalyzer test around 12:45 am on Sunday morning.

He later confessed to cops that he had been drinking earlier in the night and is now facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while impaired.

Jack's mother, Allison Bickel O'Shea, described the teen as 'perfect, smart, athletic, fearless, and handsome' in a heartbreaking Facebook post.

She confirmed that Jack died on April 18 and thanked loved ones for their support, but admitted that she does not know 'how to go on'.
