The FBI is allegedly searching for individuals with specific last names in the Tucson area as part of the investigation into the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, the mother of 'Today' show host Savannah Guthrie.
According to an X account claiming to be an investigative reporter, the FBI visited gun stores in the Tucson area and inquired about people with the last names 'Abnoosi', 'Mobasher', 'Bahrehmand', 'Bakhtiar', and 'Abnoos'.
Pima County Sheriff Chris Nanos believes Nancy Guthrie is being held locally, despite lacking evidence to support this claim.
The investigation is ongoing, with the sheriff stating that it is 'growing' in terms of leads and activity.
The Guthrie family, including Savannah's siblings Annie and Camron, has been cleared of any suspicion in the case.
