Foreign Ministers of G7 countries have collectively condemned Iran's attacks on its neighbours, vowing to secure the global energy supply.
The G7 Foreign Ministers expressed support to their partners in the region, condemning Iran's 'reckless attacks' against civilians and civilian infrastructure, including energy infrastructure, in several countries.
The statement reaffirmed the importance of safeguarding maritime routes and the safety of navigation, including in the Strait of Hormuz, and called for the immediate cessation of all attacks by the Iranian regime.
The G7 also reiterated its stance that Iran must never obtain a nuclear weapon and halt its ballistic missile program, and upheld the right of countries attacked by Iran to defend themselves.
