Controversial Maine Senate candidate Graham Platner's wife, Amy Gertner, has expressed hurt and anger over media scrutiny following the revelation of his sexting scandal.
Gertner, who wed Platner in 2023, stated that she was 'deeply hurt' by the campaign's former political director, who alerted the media about the sexting, despite her warning.
According to various sources, Platner engaged in sexting relationships with as many as a dozen women, as reported by the NY POST.
Gertner expressed her disappointment and anger in a video addressing the controversy, stating that she finds it 'shameful' that media outlets are spreading gossip instead of discussing real issues like healthcare and education.
Graham Platner has not made any public comments regarding the scandal, apart from sharing a message from his spouse.
Gertner also spoke about the challenges she faced in her marriage, including their struggle with infertility and the betrayal of a former campaign aide who revealed Platner's hidden truths to the public.
