A helicopter crashed on Kalalau Beach in Kauai, Hawaii, on Thursday, prompting a rescue operation involving multiple agencies.
First responders were dispatched to the scene at around 3:45pm, and the authorities engaged in the rescue operations include personnel from the Hanalei fire station, the United States Coast Guard, and the Kaua'i Emergency Management Agency.
The helicopter is believed to have been carrying a pilot and four passengers, but the conditions of those involved in the crash are not known yet.
The reason for the helicopter to crash is not known either, and authorities have said they'll provide an update as and when they have more information from the site of the accident.
